About the Photographers

Hmmm… So how do we sum up who we are? We met right out of high school, dated for about four years, then finally got married in 1999. We have two amazing kids who ignited our love for photography. Early in the year 2005, we started to dabble in portrait photography while capturing our newborn and two year old on camera. It didn’t take long for us to soon realize (and accept what our friends and family were saying to us) that we loved taking photos of our family and friends. The photography business simply dropped in our lap when our friends started offering to pay us for their family portraits and we have been busy taking portraits ever since. We moved to Texas in 2007 and have fully embraced the Texan way. Some of ya’ll know what we mean by that. 🙂

So who are we really?

We are a couple who loves God, our family, our friends and our hobbies. We love outdoor activities, road trips, and game nights with friends and family. Christmas is undoubtedly our favorite time of year. When we say “Christmas,” we mean from November 1st – January 5th. Yup. We are “those people.” We LOVE it. We minimize our photography jobs during the month of December. This allows us to have a little extra time to enjoy the Christmas season, to have special time with our family, and to give back to the community together.

We try not to take ourselves too seriously. Goofy faces, dancing in the kitchen, food fights, family movies, and game nights are traditions in our family.

We have been so blessed with this amazing “hobby” that, since April 2013, brings us enough “work” to call it a full time job for both of us. We love having fun with our clients and helping them express their true personalities in their photos.

By the way, our clients tell us all the time how much fun they had while experiencing the adventures that take place during our fun-filled photo sessions. We love to have fun and, yes, we may even act a bit nutty!
