I so loved planning for this session. For over six months now I have wanted to do a session with a girl in a field with a flower wreath.
Alexis was a perfect fit for this session. I had fun making the flower wreath. Alexis’s make up was done by Rachel at Fabulous Faces in old Humble.

So I have to just brag on Alexis for a moment. She is one amazing senior. When we booked a date for her session she was a H.S. senior set to graduate this coming 2013. But a few weeks later I get a call and she took some summer classes and she was able to graduate early. So now she is starting collage this Fall. She has also been blessed with a gorgeous voice and hopes to make it in the country music industry. I bet she will!

You may have wondered what we do when touching up an image of you. Below is a before and after image. My goal is not to significantly change the photo, but instead to only enhance the beauty that is already there or to fix an occasional mistake in the camera settings. We will often brighten the photo a little, make the colors pop, add some contrast, spot sharpen some areas like the eyes and add some softening to the image. Sometimes we add a color effects like changing it to black and white or aging the photo some. I will also remove distractions that could distract from the focal point from you (i.e. fly away hairs, bra strap, signs in the background, and of course, we definitely take away the one thing every senior asks to be removed… the dreaded pimples. Our goal is not to make you a plastic model, but to give you the beautiful finished images that you’ll want to cherish for many years.
